Sweet Sliding Pop Up Card

Hi!  Kris here with a fun new style of card... the "Sliding Pop Up Card"!  I used the new Sugar n' Spice Marci and she's perfect for my daughter to take to a birthday party this weekend.    

 You can find the picture tutorial for this on Splitcoast Stampers HERE. 

Here's a view from the side.  These are really fun to make and relatively easy! =)

 It folds up nice and flat for putting in a regular A2 size envelope! *Ü*

A Couple of {Darling} Cards...

Happy Wednesday!!   

Kris here with a couple of cards made with the sweetest Marci yet... Darling Marci. I just love her cute li'l pose.   This paper is from the Cosmo Cricket "Circa" pad... a bit vintagey and I love it! 

And here's a romantic New Year's themed card:

Another Sakkalo's Zigzag card

Yippee, Friday! Happy Friday, Marci and the gang fans!

I love fun fold cards and when I discovered this Sakkalo's Zigzag card on Stamping Owl's blog, I made a bunch of blank cards (card bases) so when I need one, I have it! I made THIS first one and love it so today, I am sharing another one!

For today's card, I used Birthday Marci. I like to send Birthday cards to my friends and family on their birthdays (although they are late most of the time LOL) so Birthday cards always come in handy for me. I colored Marci with Copics. Sentiment is by Papertrey Ink.

This card measures 5.5 x 6.

Winter Marci in Fall colors

Howdy La-La fans, Jana here. How is everyone today? For today's card, I was totally inspired by this card from Karen, because I just loved the colors she used, and I remembered I had this fabulous dp from my LSS (sorry, can't remember who makes it just now!) that would be perfect.

I stamped Winter Marci on a perfect panel from MFT, then stamped her again on the reverse side of this amazing floral print for the linen look burgundy to paper piece her coat and hat. I then used my W1 and W3 copic markers to add some shading to her coat and hat - that works like a charm!! I colored in the rest of her, cut out the pieces and put her all together. Then, I cut her out with my labels 14 nestie and went to town with my sponges and some creamy caramel and true thyme inks.

I went for a very simple layout, and just added a strip of the reverse paper with some lace across the card, then started playing with different buttons. I hadn't quite finished when my good friend and demonstrator Michelle came over with my jumbo button share from SU! It was EXACTLY what I needed!!

I finished off the inside with some more dp and a great SU! stamped greeting, and voila! Perfect fall bday card! So...what have YOU been creating with your La-La Land stamps?? Happy Wednesday!!  Today you get double the eye candy as our newest Guest Designer, Shantaie will be debuting her first LaLa Land card with you later today, woohoo!  *Ü* 

For my card, I used the first Marci we released as a digi, Birthday Marci.  (You can read more deets on this card at my blog.)   She will be available next Wednesday, Sept. 15th in rubber along with 4 other Marci's and a "surprise" stamp!   It will be a FUN day as we have a special post right here in LaLa Land, showcasing new cards made with each of the new releases, so I hope you'll join us!!

Birthday Marci.."Happy Birthday"

Hello there..Karen here!  Sure hope you have been enjoying all the cards we've been sharing with you highlighting some of the new Marci and Luka line!!  Today, I am sharing a card I made using Birthday Marci.  She will be available in rubber at La-La Land Crafts Store on September 15th!

I wanted this card to speak FUN..FUN..FUN!!  So, I decided to use these fabulous designer papers by My Mind's Eye!  There's border punching, a rolled flower made with the same paper I used to make the bottom border of the card, and I also added a sweet little "Happy Birthday" tag sentiment to the card and tied it to the bold red ribbon!

Birthday Marci's been colored in with Copics and her sweet little panda bear has been layered to pop right out, and the Spellbinder label that Birthday Marci is on also has pop dots too!  Birthday Marci's all ready to wish that special girl a very happy birthday!!

Happy Birthday and new Beginnings

Happy Tuesday! This is Eva today and last week was our last challenge, which means something new is happening!! What is that exactly? Well, instead of seeing a couple of posts a week on the La-La Land Crafts Blog, now you will get to see new creations from the Design Team EVERY single day!!

I was lucky to be the first one, and today I am sharing my first card made with Birthday Marci. This stamp was introduced as a digi a few weeks ago, but now you will have to wait until it comes back in rubber on September 15th along with other stamps in our new Marci line :-)

Marci is the CUUUTEST little girl and I keep telling everyone, "a new girlie is in town", because she is going to go places! I just know it!!! She is so fun to color and I found myself pinching her, as I was done with different stages of coloring. Of course I used Copic markers to color her in and for some reason the color red was calling me for her little dress.

Papers I used are by October Afternoon and the card base is a Silhouette cutting file, which is another favorite. My border is cut from felt using my Spellbinder border die.

And let me share about something else that is NEW!!!! We have a new CUSTOMER GALLERY and please feel free to link your LaLa Land Creations here as many times as you want during the month (once per card please) and once a month we will have a "Customer Appreciation Day" when we will choose a random customer to award a prize to... it could be YOU! *Ü*

Happy Birthday Sparkle!

Hello and Happy Monday Everybody! Today is a very special day at La-La Land! Today is Sparkle’s Birthday, our Guest Designer! Not only Sparkle has a very beautiful name, but also her cards are so much of a joy to look at! They are so colorful and fun; they have the prettiest embellishments and variety of unique layouts… And what I like the best about her cards, they are so personal. She creates them for her friends and family and tells different stories about it. I like visiting her blog and reading her posts, and that is what makes her art one of a kind!

So, Happy Birthday Sparkle!!! May your day be as wonderful as you are!
