Inspiration Monday-Dots & Spots

Diamond Fold Card

Hello La La Fans! Is everyone ready for the weekend?? I sure am!

Today I (Kim) have this fun fold card to share! This is called a diamond fold card. It's pretty cool!

This card features Winter Marci. I colored her a long while back and finally got this chance to put her on a card. LOL

I used one of my handmade crocheted flowers. You can see more of my flowers HERE.



Well, that's all I have today. Perhaps you guys have some LLLC creations to share as well? If so, we would LOVE to see them!

All About Family

Happy Sunday everyone!

Today's share is another La-La Land Crafts card featuring not 1, not 2, but 3 of the cute kids from La-La Land Crafts. I started out testing the hair color combination with Fancy Marci so I hadn't stamped her whole image. I really liked how the hair turned out so decided to keep the image and colored the rest of her in then trimmed it. While I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with her an idea popped into my head. Why not use a few more images in the same manner? And that was how this card was born. I chose to go with Luka with Truck & Winter Marci.

After coloring them up I thought they looked like brothers & sisters so I "tied" them together with the hand-written sentiment, All About Family. Kept the rest of the card simple with more subtle paper from a K&Company paper pack, a few buttons, a few punched leaves and Voila!



Don't forget, the new Play Time Collection is now available in rubber! You can also purchase these three cuties in either rubber or digital form at the La-La Land Crafts store.

It's a Bit Chilly Here!

Hi everyone - GDT Debbie here from a not so Summery Australia. Unfortunately where I live in Melbourne we have NOT had a terribly warm start to Summer! In fact there is even talk the mountain areas may get SNOW!!! A White Christmas in Australia - who knows when or IF that has ever happened?!?!?!

Anyway - I decided to stamp up Winter Marci  as I'm in the mood for rugging up and wrapping my hands around a hot cocoa! I've used some Pink Paislee Bayberry Cottage DPs to create the background and a doily to add in some softness. I had made the tiny tags double sided by popping the sentiment on both sides and then glueing them together with the thread in the middle - but I discovered wet stickles on red flowers REALLY messes up computer generated words when they fly up and hit it!!! If you pulled the tags off their dimensionals and turned them over you would see what I mean - LOL.

Hello! Yay! Friday!!! Here comes weekend!! Woohoo!

Are you guys all done with Christmas cards? I am done for this year but I am going to continue making them since I love Christmas and I do try to make them early.

You guessed it! I have a Christmas card to share today! LOL I decided to play with Winter Marci. She's all dressed, ready to go out in the rain. :) Yeah, it's raining here and it will continue to rain until next week. Well, at least Marci is warm and cozy in her cute little coat and matching hat, right? LOL

Christmas in the heart...

Hello friends! Lisa popping in to share a card I made featuring my favorite Winter Marci and her sweet little dog Tuffy. Have you seen Tuffy? He's darling! And he comes as a set with different poses and phrases.

For those of you who subscribe by email or through a Reader, no, your eyes are not deceiving you. There really was an earlier post, but then I realized that I had colored Tuffy's mouth all wrong! I nearly fell out of my chair laughing when I realized it! What a lame-o I am! So I removed that post, colored a new snout, cut it out and popped it up over the original one. While I was at it, I decided to shade a bit around the images. Much better!

I paired Marci and Tuffy with patterned paper from the Mitten Weather collection by Cosmo Cricket. I love this hue of green and, of course, the red. So vibrant and cheerful! The little heart pieces are from the coordinating chipboard set. The tag is by Making Memories, and the verse is perfect for this card, don't you think?

I hope you're having a fun festive season, and that it's not too stressful. Don't worry... just enjoy every day!
