18 Days of Christmas - Day 10

Hi!
It's Tamara here with you on Day 10 of 18 Days of Christmas projects. I made a teal colored Christmas card. In the last two years I noticed that people want flat Christmas cards which is a totally crazy thing for me, because I want to fill them up with flowers, lace and lots of glitter. So, today's card is a flat card that can fit in the standard envelope.

I used teal papers from the new Little Merry Christmas paper pad. Image chosen is called Cozy Molli. I colored her up using Distress ink pads on 300g HP watercolor paper. I always use HP (hot pressed) paper for coloring, it's easier to spread color and it's very smooth.

Distress ink pad colors used:
skin: vintage photo
cheeks: worn lipstick
hair: antique linen, walnut stain
outfit: broken china, black soot, pumice stone

la-la land crafts items used:
Little Merry Christmas
Cozy Molli Rubber Stamp
Christmas Postcard Stamp Set
Large Half Doily Die
Three Presents Die
Star Wreath Die

We don't have any special Christmas tradition. We decorate the tree a few days before the Christmas Eve and on the Christmas Eve my mom usually makes a dinner for all of us and she uses special Christmas plates with little Christmas trees on them and covered with gold paint. After dinner we usually watch a Christmas movie or play games.

That's it from me. Happy Holidays!!
Hugs, t.
