Cheering on the Blue and Gold

Hey all you La-La Land fans out there...it's Jana here with a fun Cheerleader Marci card! My husband went to Cal (UC Berkely for those who didn't know it's supposed to just be called "Cal") and he's a big Cal football and basketball fan...which means we all are! So as soon as I saw this cutie I knew she needed some blue and gold (as did my daughter - yes, he's trained her well!)

Isn't she adorable?? I truly love the old fashioned pleated skirt she's wearing...reminds me of cheerleaders when I was in school! (Not that I ever was one...I was more a jock!)

You can still get Cheerleader Marci as a digi stamp for now...but not much longer! Don't worry though, we'll have her for you in rubber in just 6 more days, on September 15th, along with all her Marci sisters!

We're on the countdown to release day now!!! You won't have to wait much longer!!! Stick with us... there is LOTS more in store for our sweet Marci and Luka!!!

Good Afternoon everyone! Eva here, taking the blog over for just a moment..hehehe...  Hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday, although after the holiday, it sure feels like a Monday, doesn't it???  What do you think of Karen's gorgeous creation from earlier?  Isn't Marci with Rose just sooo cute with those papers?

I thought today I would share a card made with our little Cheerleader Marci.  Don't you just love her?  She sure knows how to pick me up and cheer me on, and just overall makes me feel that she is just there anytime you need her, so I added a little sentiment saying just that.

For my card base I used a Silhouette cut.  I just love this card shape and have used it many times in the past, but don't get tired of it..hehehe.  The papers I used are Basic Grey's Kioshi, which was just a perfect match for the way I colored my little cheerleader.

Well, I hope you like my little Marci Cheerleader card and as you know, she is still available in digi, if you fancy digi, but soon, on the 15th, you can get her in nice deep red rubber, too.

Life is a Song..Sing it with Cheerleader Marci!!

Hi there, it's Karen, and wasn't that card of Eva's featuring Sweet Dreams Marci so ADORABLE!!!  I just love the story behind it too..so sweet!!  If you haven't peeked at it yet, just scroll down to the first post for today, and you can see how STUNNING her card is that Eva's sharing!!

So, I have another card to share with you today!!  My card features Cheerleader Marci, who is now available in digi for a short while..so, go visit the La-La Land Store to get yours today!!! She will be available in rubber on September 15th, along with some others from the new Marci line!

Cheerleader Marci is so excited enjoying life that she's cheering up and down!!  I created little wildflowers growing in the green grass on this beautiful blue sky day using Copics and distress inks!  The clouds, the sentiment, birdie, and Cheerleader Marci are all popped out for some added dimension!

I colored Cheerleader Marci with Copic markers to match a pad of Martha Stewart scrapbook paper I have. I'm sorry I don't have the marker colors for you, I colored her on a day that I was just coloring for pleasure. It took me longer to fuss over the layout of the card than it did to color Marci! Speaking of that, the layout is a sketch from A Gem of A Challenge blog that posts monthly challenges.
