Today's tutorial is: A Candy Box
I am sure a lot of us are gifting candies to friends these days. In today's tutorial I would like to share another design of a candy box, which is easy and fun to make.
Alternative products to a retired Snow Globe Die, for creating a shaker:
COPIC COLORS:
Bodies: N6, N4, N1 + Colorless Blender
Noses: T5, T2, T0
Scarves and hats: BG09, BG18, BG15, BG13, BG11 + B02, B00, B0000
Dark Blues: B26, B24, B23, B21
Dark Greys: N10, N7, N5
PAPER CUTS & SCORING:
The box's base: 8 X 8" (score at 1.5" on all 4 sides)
4 7/8" X 4 7/8" (the reinforcement piece)
The lid: 7 1/8" X 7 1/8" (score at 1" on all 4 sides)
5 X 5" (the reinforcement piece)
Divider: 2" X 8" (score at 1.5" on the short side, score at 0.5" > 4" > 7.5" on the long side)
TOOLS:
Scoring Board, Bonefolder, Scissors, Scor Tape, Wet Glue, Ruler, Pencil, Foam Squares, Acetate, Shaker filling of your choice, Cardstock (at least 65 lb), Designer paper.
