Hi everyone! It's MEG here today to share with you a tutorial in making a bookmark.
To make this bookmark, this is what you will need:
The magic with this project comes in re-sizing your Luggage Tag die (use the large piece). Here's how you do it!
First, cut a strip of cardstock 3" x 6". Then, arrange your die at one end. Cover the die partially with the top cutting plate on your die-cutting machine, and then run it through as shown.
Next, position the die at the other end of the cardstock, and repeat the same step. Make sure you overlap the cut lines a little.
When you're finished, this is what you will have:
Now, cut a piece of design paper from the Get Inky paper pack that fits inside the stitched lines of your bookmark. Glue down.
Then, using the sentiment from the Happy Boo To You clear stamps, stamp sentiment as shown below. The picture below shows you the pieces you will need to complete your bookmark.
From this point, it's easy to arrange your images as you like! Since this is a bookmark, it's good to try to keep everything on one level, but I caved and did pop up my gnome, crow, and a few pumpkins on dimensional foam!
