Friends are special treasures

Hi all! Hope you all are enjoying the holiday season. This is guest designer Alice. I am sad to present my last project as a guest designer for La La Land Crafts. I can't believe it's three months already! Big thanks to Irina for inviting me, I had so much fun creating using your amazing stamps and it was such an honor to work with your talented team! =)

I used the super cute Pirate Luka for this card. He has to be the most handsome pirate that I have ever seen! =) I used the digital version of the stamp for my card. You can see all the adorable La La stamps in digital forms here. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Onto my post...

After checking out the Cinch at the Scrapbook Show last month, I was in the mood to make albums! LOL I didn't get the Cinch at the show but it did inspire me to create this album!

The album itself didn't take me long to finish but using a single hole puncher to punch these holes was a pain! Now that I've completed this album, I ordered myself a Cinch! LOL I guess I do things in reverse. LOL I haven't tried the Cinch yet but I am sure it's way better than a single hole puncher!

Anyway, I thought it would be a cool idea to have a little book of all my friends' birthdays. These books are handle. I keep books of everything. hehe

This book measures 5 x 8 1/2 inches. I used Marci and Luka images..plus the little adorable panda.

For the cover, I used Marci With Rose.

Ahoy there Matey!

Happy Thursday everyone, Jana here! I'm back with a fun Pirate Luka card for you all today from our recent Halloween release. My little Jackson turned 2 just under 2 weeks ago now, and he had a pirate party! I had colored this Luka to use for that, but then ran out of time to do more...so I finally created a card with him this week!

I colored Luka with my Copics, then I used some MFT mini bradlets for the buttons on his coat. Don't you just love them?? The fabulous paper is again from the SU! Newsprint DSP pack (thanks Michelle for helping me out!!) and the layout is this week's Sketch for You to try from Jen del Muro. Super fun, isn't it??

I'm going to tell you all a little secret...there's something new coming from LaLa Land tomorrow...so be sure to come back and see!! You'll be singing with glee and skating on clouds!

Good Morning, everyone! It's Monday and my turn at posting on the blog. Have you enjoyed seeing all the wonderful cards using the new images? I sure have! Today I am sharing a card I made using Pirate Luka. He's no longer available as a digi in the shop, so I sure hope you snatched him up while you could. Never fear, however, if you didn't. He and a few of his friends will be available in rubber on September 15th...YAY!

We have yet a NEW CHARACTER to share with you today!! Irina has been working hard (and enjoying every minute of it I'm sure) on her fabulous new line of stamps and she's decided to share a new stamp each week and have it available for one week only in the shop as a digi!!
