Star Magic Monday

Hi Everyone,

Starting a new week with a bit of magic this Monday with a little Magician Luka gift tag. I've coloured Luka on Kraft paper to give the pastel look. Thought he would look good on a present or even as a topper on a card or Scrapbook page embellishment.

Hello La-La friends!!  Kris here... sharing a fun card today with Magician Luka and some stars and circus elements that I cut using my Cricut!  This li'l guy just CRACKS ME UP with his li'l shorts and cowboy boots.  But isn't that what li'l boys do??  Dress up in whatever they can find?  Love it!!  Irina and Eric did such a great job with this playtime collection.  My husband actually convinced me to make his li'l boots STRIPED!  LOL.  he thought that'd be "soo cool" to have striped cowboy boots (for real!)

Make A Wish

Hellllllooooooooooooo!

Today I have this Magician Luka card to share! Isn't Luka just the cutest? He is so perfect for a little boy's card. As a matter of fact, he is perfect for all sorts of creations!

Believe it or not, this is actually a K&Company baby boy patterned paper. Bet ya can't tell? LOL


Well, as you can see on this card, I am so not good at coloring curly hair. I need some serious practice. Anyone got some tips for me? LOL

Magician Luka Celebrates!

Sharing Magician Luka with you today!  He's one of the new digi's from La-La Land Crafts  "Play Time" collection!   I wanted to create a special celebration card featuring this awesome lil guy! I figured Magician Luka would be a great way to send some magical wishes to that special little one!

 

To top off my card, I added a couple of candles that have been bundled with some blue DMC thread!  The sparkly star that you see on the sentiment and wand that Luka holds are brads!  I just love the little sparkle the sparkly brads add to the card as well as carry the theme of stars highlighting the border of this card!  I think it will make that little one feel like a magical superstar receiving a celebration card like this!

Magician Luka and Pilot Luka

Hi Everyone - GDT Debbie here - I've been MIA on a family holiday so am back with not one but TWO cards to show you today - these are the cards I sent off to Irina for CHA. It's been sooo hard to keep these cuties a secret but now we can start showing them to you - woohooo. Meet Pilot Luka - one of La-La Land Crafts latest releases - available HERE in digital form - the rubber is still about 3 weeks away for those you want to know!

What kid hasn't used a cardboard box to play pretend in - although coming from an all girl family the boxes in our house tended to be used to make "shops" or "houses" rather than aeroplanes - LOL. And how fun is it to see Luka's dog Tuffy going along for the ride! I used some Liquid Applique on his fur collar and hat to add some dimension.

And this one is Magician Luka - you gotta love his tight curls. I decided he looked like my kids when they put on a "pretend" show for us - so I created a stage for him - every magician needs a stage, just like my kids did when they hung sheets up over the washing line for their productions!
