the La-La Gala Grand Prize Winner

I would like to announce the Winner of the La-La Gala Grand Prize!! I pulled the name after the celebration was over and the winner is Chris Ollia!!! Congratulations Chris!!

Chris has been already notified over the phone and picked up her prize at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. I was actually there, but have totally spaced out and did not take the photos of Chris with the prize :-( But Chris has told me that she did not have anything of what was included in the price, I am glad I picked the "right" things!!! There was a set of JustRite all occasion stamps with the stamper, Tim Holtz scissors, Stampa-Magic, set of large Prima Silk Flowers, and I can't even recall the rest right now.. but there were quite a few things in there!! A basket full of goodies, a basket full of stamping haven!!

Congratulations again Chris and enjoy!!!

La-La Gala photographs

Last night was awesome! I enjoyed every moment of it! I have a few photos to share.

This beautiful cake was made and airbrushed by Geri (owner of Cranberry Hill Mercantile). She took an empty Copic marker, filled it with food coloring, then airbrushed the cake! Not only did it look fantastic, it was SO delicious!

A layered dip made by Geri that is to die for! So yummy!

I didn't get a chance to munch 'til later, but I did manage to take a picture of the spread!

Irina gave a terrific speech to kick off the grand opening.

I didn't get a chance to take many photos during the event so I missed out on taking photos of Irina with individual friends. However, I did manage to get these taken!

tomorrow.. tomorrow!!!

I feel like I am dreaming, I feel like I am on cloud nine, I feel like I am in the La-La Land!! Tomorrow is the Great Opening of my store, La-La Land Crafts, and it still does not feel real. Somebody pinch me!!

Just to remind you, the celebration will start with the reveal of the stamps at Cranberry Hill Mercantile in Sunnyvale, CA. The party is scheduled from 6 pm to 9 pm (see details here).

The website will go live at 11 pm PST. To celebrate the Grand Opening in our online store, we are offering a 10% discount storewide!! This is a limited time offer, it will only last for the first 24 hours!!

As a special treat for those of you coming to Cranberry Hill, we are going to have two very special guests there!! Jane Matsumoto is my Design Team coordinator and she will be doing a make-and-take at the store with you. If you have not met Jane before you will see why I have chosen her, she is as sweet as she is talented!! The other guest is Mark Peterson. You don't know Mark yet.. Mark is my friend and a writer. As soon as my website goes live you will see very cute character descriptions there for every single stamp. Mark writes those for me!!!

The date is SET!!

We have decided on the date of the Grand Opening!! Wednesday, August 12th we are going to have the La La Gala at Cranberry Hill Mercantile 6 pm to 9 pm, the website will go live at 11 pm PST.
