Tutorial Thursday

Hi ladies, Alina here today. I have a baby card to share and I'm going to show you how I made my ''paperclips'' to embellish my card. I will let the photos ''speak'', because it's a very simple project, so really not too much to explain.

To start, you need a piece of cardstock 27 x 14,5 cm, which you have to score at 8cm and again at 18cm:

Decorate the front panel and the inside with patterned paper:

 Cut two circles using the third small circle from the set Stitched Nested Circles (set of 7) Die and then use the label die - from the set Stitched Elements (set of 7) Die - like on the photo below:

Glue the two ''paperclips'' on the edge of the front panel and then you have to cut another two circles to cover the back of the paperclips, just to look nicer:

Decorate the card as you wish. I used these La-La Land dies: Stitched Sun and Clouds (set of 3), 

Rocking Horse, Small Lacy Border, Hanging Hearts & Love Word (set of 3).

Tutorial Thursday- Another use for your dies

Hi Everyone!

Its Anne-Maree here this week with a tutorial on how to make a pram out of your Open Heart Doily and Heart Fan dies.

You will need.

Paper

Cardstock

Scissors

Ink and dauber

Glue

Dies

Open Heart Doily 

Heart Fan 

Stitched Nested Circles

Cut the pieces and ink the edges. 

Glue the Open Heart Doily and Heart Fan to your cardstock and use foam dots to put your wheels together.

Cut the base of your pram and the hood out leaving a small border around them.  Ink the edges.

Your pram is now ready to glue together and use on your card.

I have also used the Small Lacey Border  and Hanging Hearts and Love Words Dies to make this card. I have coloured Baby Marci with copics.

Tutorial Thursday - Mini Double Easel Card

Hi All,

Debbie here today with a fun little card that I call a Mini Double Easel Card. I am going to give you the steps for the one you see here but I would love to see some other versions of this too....

For the Base Card you will need.....

Cardstock

Designer Paper

Stitched Nested Circle Dies (the second and third largest ones)

For My Version you will also need.....

Flamenco Marci (coloured and cut out)

Heart Fan Die

Small Lacy Border Die

Love Word Die from Hanging Hearts and Love Word Set

Lace

Pearls

Flowers 

Using the template above cut out your card base. Also cut out a 3 x 4 inch rectangular piece. 

Fold on the score lines so your card base looks like the one above.

Attach the rectangular piece to the front of the left had side to create the larger easel.

Cut patterned paper to fit the 3 card faces and mat with a complementary coloured cardstock.

 Now comes the fun part - DECORATING......

Before attaching the panels to the easels I die cut, trimmed and attached teal pieces of the small lacy border to the outer edges. I trimmed off the bottom edge so the cut is not as noticeable. Add pearls to the base of each scallop.

Cut one teal stitched circle (second largest die) and one white stitched circle (third largest die) and glue together. Die cut one teal heart fan and attach to the circles. Die cut one white heart fan and gently mountain fold to give it some more texture. Attach to the top of the teal fan. Glue some flowers to the base. Attach this to the triangular section of your easel.

Using 3D foam pads attach Marci to the rectangular easel. Use extra pearls on the card base to hold your easels in place.

Attach a strip of lace and a large flower to the card base.

Die cut 3 teal "Love" words and layer together. Top with a white die cut "Love" and attach to card base. Cut the heart out in red and glue it in place.
