the Best Christmas EVER!!!

I made card similar to this last year with Tilda by Magnolia, and it was one of my favorite cards. Of course now I just had to make one with Lala!!! I chose Ornament Lala for this card. She is just too ADORABLE holding this HUGE Christmas Ornament :-)

This card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

Window behind Lala is a stamp from Magnolia, you can purchase at Cranberry Hill Mercantile online store or call the store at 408-736-9151 to place your order. I cut out the window panels and place Snowflake vellum paper behind it. I have been hoarding this paper by Making Memories, it is only being used sparingly and for very special cards ;-) The branch in the window and the sentiment are from the same clear stamp set by Hero Arts (I have had it since last year, sorry.. don't know the name of this set). Fiskars border punch for the awning.

Ornament Lala was colored with Copic Markers, cut out and popped on the card with foam tape. You can purchase this stamp along with others in our La-La Land Crafts online store, here is the link.

We will have a special treat for you on Wednesday right here on La-La Land Crafts Blog, make sure to come back!!

Hugs!!

And here is my card for this week's challenge.. To see the cards made by my Design Team and the Guest Designers please scroll down to the post below or click here. We are looking forward to seeing your Pink & Green projects this week, please list them with Mr. Linky on this post.

When I saw this absolutely GORGEOUS paper from We R Memory Keepers, I instantly knew that I was going to make a card with our Ornament Lala!!! Isn't it just perfect??!! And the colors.. it was meant to be ;-) Oh, oh, oh.. and this paper has tons of glitter all over the ornaments!!! Hard to see on photos though, you might have to enlarge them..

This card measures 6" x 6".

The corners were made by punching scalloped circles with Marvy punches, and cut in quarters. Hero Arts flowers. Mark Richardson rhinestones. Ribbon from Michaels. Lala was colored with Copic Markers and popped on dimensionals in front of the ornament that I made with two Nestabilites circles.

All I Want For Christmas Is...

La-La Land Crafts is sponsoring this week's Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge #15! One lucky winner will receive both of these stamps from our Christmas Collection, Angel Lala and Christmas Dress Rosie!!

Randi Barrett is hosting this week's challenge. Randi chose these scriptures for the inspiration:

Matthew 2:11 "After coming into the house they saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell to the ground and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh."

Matthew 7:7-11: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in Heaven give what is good to those who ask it."

Randi's challenge is to make a card, layout or other paper craft project that has a GIFT featured in it. Be sure to visit Stampin' Sisters in Christ Blog and enter the challenge there!

And here is my card for the challenge.. I used one of the stamps that are being offered as a prize, Christmas Dress Rosie :-) .

Rosie was colored with Copic Markers, cut out and popped up for dimension. BoBunny Designer Paper. The frame, the Christmas Tree with the presents and the sentiment are all the part of the designer paper. I LOVE it!!! Mark Richards Crystal Stickers. Ribbon with the button and the twine in the right corner. That's it!! Quick, easy and ADORABLE :-) !!

Clover wishes you a Merry Christmas

Join us every Wednesday for a Weekly Challenge at La-La Land Crafts Blog. This week's challenge is PINK. Please click scroll down or click here to participate and to see the cards from our super talented design team!!

My card today is not for this week's challenge, it is not pink ;-) . Red and Blue is my favorite color combo for Christmas cards.

This card measures 6" x 6".

Candy Cane Clover is from our Christmas 09 Collection, you can buy this stamp here. Fireplace stamp is from Magnolia, you can buy yours at Cranberry Hill Mercantile online store, here is the link. Sentiment is from JustRite Christmas stamp set.

I made this card into somewhat like a shadowbox card. Blue background was embossed with Snowflakes Cuttlebug embossing folder, cut out the circle in the middle with Nestabilites and made the scalloped frame to go around the opening. The blue layer is raised on the card with the fireplace showing in the opening. Fireplace was colored with Copic Markers and I also airbrushed around the fireplace.

Clover was stamped twice and colored with Copic Markers. Her wings and the Candy Cane are layered for a 3D effect, you might be able to see it when you enlarge the last photo (just click on it).

Stickles on the garland, the fire and the Candy Cane.

Hugs!!

Building a Snow-Cow Maya

I just LOVE this new stamp of Maya, she looks like she is having so much fun building a snow-cow!!! This stamp is called Winter Maya and is now available in our online store.

This is my second card for our La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge this week, Winter/Christmas. If you would like to play along please check out this post, there are also more samples from our talented DT and the Guest Designers.

Desinger paper is from Webster's Pages. Winter Maya was colored with Copics, Flower Soft for the snow and Crystal Stickles on the "snowcow" and Maya's boots, scarf and mittens. I added Copper Brads for the snowcow's bottons. Along with Maya stamp I used the Christmas Trees stamp from Magnolia, the trees were stamped on the Designer Paper and outlined with Copic.
