Hi Friends!
It's Dawn here today with a super cute shaker Birthday card for you.

A2 size card base
Pattern paper
Shaker bits
Ribbon
Vellum
Fun Foam
Acetate
Art glitter glue

Bow- OR1, BO3

I started by die cutting all of my elements and creating my card base out of red card stock.
I colored Molli using the same color pallet as my pattern paper.

To make my shaker element I cut 2 pieces from pattern paper using the smallest of the large stitched tags and one from red fun foam.

Next I used my craft knife and a small straight edge to create a rectangle shape in the center of one of the pattern paper tags and the fun foam tag.

Layer your top piece, acetate, and fun foam in that order using a combination of double sided tape and wet glue. Add the shaker bits to the side with the fun foam and then attach the back piece of the shaker tag. Lastly make a pretty bow for the tag top with ribbon.

Next layer the pattern paper die cut with the Scalloped Rectangle Die onto the card base. Decorate the Vellum piece cut with the same Rectangle Die. Start by placing down the shaker tag then layer the rest of the die cut elements and Molli around the shaker die like this.

Place double sided adhesive behind the elements on the vellum piece to help hide the adhesive then adhere the vellum piece directly over the pattern paper on the card base. If you use a pattern paper that is not super busy you can skip the vellum and just attach your scene directly to the pattern paper.

Decorate the inside of the card with the leftover stars and presents used on the front and a cute doily string across the bottom of the sentiment.
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoy making this super cute shaker card and share your creations on our Facebook page, we love to see what your making!

Paper Hugs,
Dawn
