Thank goodness it's Friday!! Although, I don't know why I say that.. I've been off work all week, heehee.. it may have something to do with the trip me and the boy are taking to Edinburgh Zoo today! Fingers crossed the weather stays nice. Yippeee..

Love Is Not Just For Valentine's Day

You can tell someone that you love them any time you want! So I have a little not Valentine's Day Valentine's card for you this week.

I've used the gorgeous Amour Luka which you can get as a digi-stamp here on the blog or as a rubber stamp over at the La-La Land Crafts Store.

I've coloured him with a mix of Prismacolor pencils and Koh-I-Noor pencils.

Matching him with the lovely Pink Paislee 365 Degrees paper pad but I've also kept him quite minimalistic on a Kraft card blank.

Be My Valentine

I always have a hard time making masculine cards. They always seem to come out so girly. LOL

This is a simple card but I did have to put my thinking cap on. hehe

I used Amour Luka on this card. He is one of the newest images in La La Land, our latest Valentine's collection. Isn't he darling?? I colored him with Copic. Papers are by Stampin' Up.

I rarely finish the inside of my cards but I did on this one. :) Sentiment is by Hero Arts.

More Lovin from LaLa Land!

Howdy Lala Landers, Jana here, happy Thursday! I've got another black and white image for you today, this time using the adorable new Amour Luka! Now what woman would love to get this card from her sweetie?? Isn't he adorable with his heart box of chocolates and red rose?

ETA: The markers I used for this one are W000, W1, W3, W5, W7, R37, R39, R59

I used some SU! dsp for this one along with a sentiment from MFT's Clearly Sentimental about Love set. I dressed up the bow with a felt heart (cut with the heart Die-Namics also from MFT) an SU! button and some twine. Adorable, no??

Heading to CHA this winter?? Lucky you!! Be sure to go say hi to Irina and Eric, our lovely leaders here in LaLa Land, and the other LaLa Ladies while you're there. Irina's got some great make and take's planned, and they'll have TONS of amazing samples (some even created by ME!) to get those creative juices flowing!! Hello there! It's Karen and I am sharing Amour Luka today!  My "Love, Luka" Valentine's Day card was so much fun to make!  I've got a mix of designer papers by K&Company (rose background) and Martha Stewart (phrase background paper) that tie in so wonderfully with sweet Amour Luka !   The felt with lace heart as well as the "L" postage stamp are embellishments from Martha Stewart's Valentine's day collection!  I love how the postage stamp, to me (giggle), signifies Luka's name and the word "love"! Lots of dimension on this card, and some DMC handstitching around the Spellbinder circle, and some lovely pearls have been added as well!

This fabulous digi as well as the rest of the Valentine's Day release is available right now, and you can purchase them at the La-La Land Store!!  And, guess what?...the rubber stamps are coming soon!!   Feel free to visit the La-La Land Store to see all of the newest digi's in this Valentine's Day release!!

Be mine, Valentine!!

As simple as this card looks, you will never believe how long it took me to make it!!!  WOW!!!  It is always hard for me to make cards for boys and men and this one was no exeption!!  I had tried so many different layouts, but this is the one I decided on.. And to tell you the truth, even with the amount of time I spent on this card, I still really LOVE how it turned out!!

I again put my Silhouette machine to work!!  The hearts and the Banner are cut with it.. The sentiment is computer generated..
