PAPER CUTS & SCORING

~ now for the tutorial you have been waiting for ~

To start with die cut a tag using some white card.

Once you have die cut your tag go ahead and die cut another tag. You should have 2 plain tags. We are going to ink blend one of the tags. The other tag is going to be die cut again.

Take one of the tags and using the side of your scalloped rectangle die place this near the top of your tag.

Secure this down with some washing tape and run this through your die cutting machine.

Your die cut piece should look like this.

Now using the same tag place the scalloped rectangle die towards the bottom of the tag.

Run this through your die cutting machine again.

Both pieces should look like the above picture.

I then die cut the tag reinforcer using some pink card.

I then used three distress ink colours to ink blend my tag. If you don't have any coloured ink you can add colour with pencils, markers or paints.

Once you have applied the ink your tag should look something like this.

Next stamp your images onto a piece of comic friendly
Cardstock.

Using the copics listed above colour in the images.

Stamp your sentiment onto the folding banner die.

Die cut a couple of sweets and add some colour to them. You can use markers,
coloured card and inks. Place your two die cut pieces from the tag to your ink blended tag. I used thick foam to do this. I then placed my images onto my tag and then the sentiment and sweets.

I then added a pink ribbon to finish off the tag.
