Hi everyone! It's MEG here today with a tutorial for you on making a long tag!
You will need the La-La Land Crafts Stitched Tags die for your long tag.
STEP 1. Decide how long you want your tag to be (cannot exceed 2x the length of the die itself). I wanted mine to be 5.5", so I cut my paper a bit over 5.5".
STEP 2. Position your paper and die in your die-cutting machine, making sure to only cover a portion of the die with the top cover plate.
STEP 3. After you run the die through the machine like this, tear off the excess paper at the cut end (I do this to better help align the die for the second pass through the machine).
STEP 4. Now, position your die at the top edge of the card, and align the sides to match where you already have cuts.
STEP 5. Place the cover plate over top of the uncut edge, and slightly overlap your torn edges. Run through machine.
Now, you should have a long tag!
You're now ready to use your long tag as the centerpiece of your design!
