Tutorial Thursday - Small Christmas Treat Box

 

 

 

Hello everyone! Welcome to Tutorial Thursday!

Sandra here with you today to share a tutorial with you!

Today's tutorial is:  Small Christmas Treat Box
 


Hello dear ones, today I would like to show you how to craft a little cute treatbox that fits perfectly for christmas!
 
PRODUCTS:
 
Very Merry Paper Pack

Supplies:

white cardstock
Scissors
Liquid Glue
Ruler
Corner Punch
Scoring Board
Folding Bone

Copic Marker used:

Poinsettia: R17, 24, 27, 46, 59, YR16, Y35
Branches: BG96, YG17, 25, 63, 67
Pine Needles: G24, 28, 29
Twig: BG96, YG25, 63, 67, YR16, Y04, 35, 38

 
~ now for the tutorial you have been waiting for ~


Cut your cardstock to 6 3/4" x 4 3/4"
Score on the short side at 5/8" and 4 1/8"


Score on the long side at 2 3/8" and 5 3/8" and 6"


Score diagonal lines as shown in the pic


Cut off paper edges as shown


Cut the paper edges from the flap with your scissors or corner punch






Fold all scored lines and assemble the box as shown above


Cut the design paper to 
2 pieces 3 3/8" x 2 1/4"
2 pieces 3 3/8" x 3/8"
2 pieces 2 1/4" x 3/8"

Glue the design paper to the box


Stamp the sentiment onto the long flag die cut and cut off a bit of the paper to fit the flag to the box


Color up the poinsettia, pine needles, branches and twig die cuts with Copic Markers and add everything to your box




Add some yummy filling and you are done!

Tutorial Thursday - Little cute Treat box

Welcome to Tutorial Thursday!

Sandra here with you today showing you a little cute and really easy to make treat box.





PRODUCTS USED


SUPPLIES NEEDED
Colored cardstock of your choice in 8 3/8" x 6 3/8" for box base
Scraps of colored cardstock
Paper Straw
Glue
Score Board
Scissors
Acrylic Block
Stamping Pad


Score your 8 3/8" x 6 3/8" cardstock at 2" / 4" / 6" / 8" on the long side


Turn paper, score at 2" / 4" / 6"


Cut off paper as shown


Cut paper as shown


Should look like this after cutting. Fold all scored lines


Score from the middle to the point the other 2 folds cross


Repeat for the other side


Cut your Design Paper into 6 pieces each 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" and glue 5 of them to the box base as shown


Add glue to the flap and assemble the box



Close the bottom of the box by following the next steps




Add the last Design Paper piece to the closed bottom


The box opening looks like that before closing


Fold the paper as shown


Put the small flap into the box


Cut one piece from the 2nd smallest Pierced Scalloped Circle Die and glue it to the box


Die cut one piece from the 3rd smallest Stitched Nested Circles Die and glut it onto the box like shown


Stamp the sentiment and stick it with foam tape on its back to the box


Punch holes as shown


Put the paper straw through the holes. If they aren't big enough just cut them a bit larger till they fit to the straw


Cut the straw to your desired length
