Happy Wednesday! Irina is here and I am your challenge hostess this week. First, a big shout-out to all you awesome peeps who played in last week's TIME TO GET SCRAPPY Challenge!!! We LOVED seeing all of your creations using La-La Land Crafts stamps and digi images!

This week we want to see your SHABBY CHIC cards and projects. Here is the link to a great article about what Shabby Chic means. And of course below you will find the samples from our Design Team for your inspiration.

LLWWC#30 - Recycle It

Hello and welcome to another La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge!

It's Elena and I am your hostess for this week's challenge! Before I get to the challenge, I would like to thank everyone who participated in last week's LLWWC#29 - Pastel Colors Challenge. We were so happy to see your cards with LLLC stamps!

Now onto La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge #30! Since March 17th is St.Patrick's Day, let's do a GO GREEN – RECYCLE IT Challenge. Let's save the world and do a recycle kind of a challenge. Here are some ideas:

- use a cereal box as a chipboard to create your own embellishment;
- use a lace or ribbon (or even buttons) from the old clothes that you don't wear;
- old newspaper or book page to make a paper flower (pretty popular in these days);
- instead of DP try wrapping paper or even wall papers;
- use a bubble wrapping paper as a "stamp" to create your own background paper:
- create a 3-D project by using an acetate package;
- use raffia;
- use an old non-expensive earring as a charm;

Here's what you need to do to participate:
IMPORTANT!! We have made a few changes!

1) Create a NEW card for the challenge. You are more than welcome to combine challenges!

2) Your project must have one of La-La Land Crafts stamps on it!! You are welcome to use any other stamps along with LLLC images, such as sentiments, background, etc.

If you do not have any of our stamps yet, you can start your collection by purchasing one or more of our new DIGI stamps! DIGI stamps are now available in our online store.

3) Link your project to Mr. Linky below by Monday, March 22nd, 2010 at 11:59pm PST (GMT-8). Be sure to link directly to the blog or gallery post featuring your entry!

LLWWC #29, Rosie wishes you a Happy Easter

Here is my card for this week's PASTEL COLORS Challenge hosted by Maureen. Please scroll down or click HERE for details, to participate and to see more samples made by our Design Team.

I've been wanting to make this kind of card for a loooong time!!! I really love this frame-like look of it.

This card measures 5 3/4" x 5 3/4".

Websters Pages designer paper from their 6" x 6" paper stack, I just can't get enough of it!! Martha Stewart grass border punch. EK Success corner and flower punches. Background stamp is from Magnolia. Butterfly stamp from Martha Stewart clear stamp set.

This Rosie stamp is one of our new Digi Stamps, it can be purchased HERE. Oh, and best of all, it is on SPECIAL this week at 20% OFF!!!!

For this card I printed Rosie on Coconut Swirl cardstock by Bazzill at 3 1/8" tall, the image was colored with Copics and cut out..

La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge #16 - Pink & Green!

Hello everybody! Welcome to another La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge!

I'm Lisa Hjulberg, your hostess for this week's challenge. Before I get to the challenge, I want to thank everyone who participated in our Buttons Buttons Buttons challenge last week. Obviously, buttons are a favorite embellishment for many of us! There were so many wonderful cards/projects to see. Congratulations to our Top 3!

I don't know about you, but I'm loving this year's Christmas colors of pink and green. Pink seems to be the new red, and apple green (or variations thereof) is the new shade of green for Christmas. So this week's challenge is to use pink and green (and a neutral if you so desire) in your card/project.

La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge #14 - Recipe

Hello everybody and welcome to another La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge!

It's Maureen and I'm your hostess for this week's challenge! Before I get to the challenge, I'd like to thank everyone who played in our Thankful Challenge last week and congratulations to our Top 3! You all made such wonderful creations!

I decided to do a recipe challenge, specifically a 3-2-1 recipe, because I think they're lots of fun! I've chosen 3 patterned papers, 2 colors of cardstock (white counts as a color), and 1 type of embellishment.

Now since opinions can differ as to what is an embellishment, I've made a list of the 'bellies that I think have more visual "weight" and count for purposes of this challenge: ribbon/lace, buttons, gems/pearls/acrylic drops, beads, charms, brads/eyelets, other metal hardware and flowers. So pick one type off the list, but you can use as many of that one type as you like! Anything that's not on the list is ok (such as glitter, liquid applique, punched pieces, Flower Soft, etc.). I hope this isn't too complicated and that you have fun with this challenge!

1) Create a NEW card or other papercraft project for the challenge using the above recipe.
Yes, you may combine challenges!
