Christmas Advent - 24 Days Of Tutorials - Day 15

WELCOME to DAY 15 of our annual
24 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS TUTORIALS ADVENT EVENT!

Tamara here sharing with you today my tutorial
- CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT -

TUTORIAL:

Step 1:
Take newspaper pages (without pictures) or an old book and cut out 30 pieces of Large Christmas ornaments.

Step 2:
Fold them in half. Make crisp folds (use bone folder).

Step 3:
Open up each folded ornament and add some glue on the top and on the bottom (look at the picture). Repeat at all 30 pieces.

Step 4:
When you have all pieces folded and glued it's time to glue them all together. Apply some glue in the middle of each folded ornament and place one on top of another.

Step 5:
Add some cord in them middle and glue it down with a glue gun. I added some pearls to my ornament but you don't have to.

Step 6:
Add some glue to the top folded piece (like in Step 4) and close the ornament together.

Step 7:
Decorate the top with some Poinsettias and some leaves.

Step 8:
Add some white (crackle) paint and clear glue and cover it with clear glitter. I also added a sentiment which was printed on the same paper as the die cuts.

  8. This is so pretty. It reminds me of the ornaments my parents made when I was a kid. They used last year's Christmas cards. I'd love to make some of these. The added bling at the bottom is great.
