Tutorial Thursday - Using outline dies

 

 

Hello everyone! Welcome to Tutorial Thursday!

 

Tamara here with you today to share a tutorial with you!

 

Today's tutorial is:  USING OUTLINE DIES

 

A few short steps to show you how to use outline dies with your images.

 

PRODUCTS USED

Hey Chum Clear Stamp Set

Sea Critters Outlines Die

~ now for the tutorial you have been waiting for ~ 

 

 

Step 1: Stamp one of the images from Hey, chum clear stamp set.  

 

Step 2: 

Take a small piece of paper and die cut only the matching outline die.

 

 

 

Step 3:

Remove the die cut part and gently remove the die from the paper and keep the paper.

 

 

Step 4: 

Line up the paper with die cut shark to the shark image. Make sure there's even space around the stamped image.

 

 

Step 5:

Add some washii tape to hold the paper in place. Then gently slide the die into the opening. Add washii to hold it and run it through your die cutting machine.

 

   

 

Step 6: 

You get a perfectly cut image. All you have to do is color it up and make a card with it.
