18 Days Of Christmas Projects - Day 11

Hey crafty friends, Sandra here on Day 11 of La - La Land Crafts 18 Days of Christmas Projects.

I made a christmas card with one of the gnome Santas who is walking through the night while snow flakes are falling down.

His light and brightful shining lantern shows him the way to all the houses where the kids are waiting for Santa Claus to come and bring them their presents.

I think our christmas is a little bit different to yours.

The kids in germany didn´t get their presents in the morning of december 25th. Santa Claus or the Christ Child (some kids believe in Santa Claus and some believe in the Christ Child bringing their presents) comes on christmas eve and give presents to the kids.

In our family we have a relaxed day, decorating the christmas tree, watching christmas movies, playing with the kids and having a dinner together with the hole family.

Later in the evening we sometimes go to church listen to the christmas mass and when coming home there are the presents under the christmas tree.

My kids are always amazed how Santa Claus get the presents into our house and would love to meet him personal. :)

The remaining evening we are watching the kids playing with all their new stuff, eating cookies and simply having fun and a relaxed time.

I hope you all will also have a merry christmas and a wonderful time with your familys.

  12. Great card. I like the way you colored the Santa. He reminds me of one of the seven dwarves ready to enter the mine. This makes the image look more versatile instead of just as a Santa at Christmas.
