Christmas Advent - 24 Days of Tutorials - Day 13

Hello everyone! Welcome to 24 Days of tutorials - DAY 13!

Tamara here with you today to share a tutorial with you!

Today's tutorial is: Christmas gift tags/ornaments

I designed these Christmas tags which can also be used as ornaments once you remove them from the gift.

PRODUCTS:

Winter Hippos Clear Stamp Set
Merry Hippos Clear Stamp Set
Starry Night Paper Pack
Double Stitched Dome Die
Scalloped Dome Die
Three Snowflakes Die

DISTRESS COLORS:

Hippos: black soot, hickory smoke

pink hat, banner: victorian velvet

deer headband: ground espresso

star: fossilized amber, spiced marmalade

STEP 1

Cut 2 dome frame like on the pictures. First use the biggest dome die from the Scalloped dome die set and the middle one from the Double stitched dome set. Place it on the white cardstock like on the picture. Run it through your die cutting machine. You get a small white frame.

STEP 2:

Use the biggest two dies from the Double stitched dome die set and place them on the chosen design paper like on the picture. Run it through your die cutting machine. You get a second small frame.

I cut out three sets.

STEP 3:

Take one small cellophane bag or an acetate pocket.

Glue it to the smaller white frame. Leave an opening on the top.

Take an alcohol marker and draw a line where the pocket needs to be cut. Cut on the line.

STEP 4:

Add white glitter to the pocket.

STEP 5:

Carefully glue the pocket to the frame.

Glue the smaller frame with glitter to the bigger frame.

STEP 6:

Stamp your images, colour them up and then fussy cut them. Choose sentiments you want to use on your tags.

STEP 7:

Die cut some snowflakes.

STEP 8:

Add your image and sentiment to the dome shaker frames. Make holes on the top, add eyelets and some twine.

That's it!!!
