Tutorial Thursday- Chocolate Slider Box

Hey it's Sue here to share with you an oldie but a goodie chocolate slider box.
This box is so easy to make and makes a perfect gift,  just in time for Easter!

What you will need....

Cardstock- cut to 9.5" x 8.5"
Score board
Double sided tape
Scissors
70cm ribbon
Slot punch tool and Hammer
Pencil & eraser
Most importantly CHOCOLATE!!

Score at .5", 4.5", 5" and 9" along the 9.5" side

Turn 90 degrees to the right, score at .5"

mark, with a pencil,  two points .5" from the top and 2.5" in from each side

Cut 2 slits using the slit punch, erase any remaining pencil lines

Fold all the score lines, run over with the bone folder to ensure crisp lines.
Snip at .5", 4.5", 5" and 9", up to the .5" score line as shown.
At 9" line cut the entire square out.

Add strong double sided tape, right hand long side and the tab at the bottom.
Construct the box.

Thread the ribbon through the 2 slits, ensure the tails of the ribbon on either side are even.

Use the chocolate to push the ribbon to the bottom of the box.

Tie the remaining tails of the ribbon into a bow, trim the ends if uneven.

If you pull the bow upwards the chocolate should rise up with it.

Decorate as desired, the world is your oyster now!!

I have used the following to decorate my chocolate slider box......
