Tutorial Thursday- Double and Triple Roses

Hello and welcome back for another Tutorial Thursday!
Today is all about using the LLLC Large Rolled Rose to create the large rose (it is a triple) on this gift bag.  They are super duper easy to make and give you more ways to use the die you already have in your collection!

You need:
Patterned Paper
Glue Gun
Quilling Tool

Step 1:
You will need to cut 2 large rolled roses for the double rose and 3 large rolled roses for the triple rose.

Step 2:
Take the 1st rose, insert the end into the slot in the end of the quilling tool, roll around and secure with a dot of glue

 Step 3:
Take the 2nd rose and roll around the handle of the quilling tool, this will give you a looser rose

Step 4:
If making the triple rose, take the 3rd rose and roll around your finger
The result will be a really loose rose.

Step 5:
For a double rose you will need a regular rose & a loose rose

To finish the rose, place the regular rose inside the loose rose, secure at the bottom with a dot of glue

Step 6:
For a triple rose you will need a regular rose, a loose rose and a super loose rose

To complete the triple rose, complete the same step as for the double rose, and then add it inside the super loose rose, secure with a dot of glue.

Voila, one die 3 ways!
I haven't tried to add more layers to make a larger flower, will leave that for you to try!

I hope you have enjoyed today's tutorial, and we look forward to seeing your creations!
You can share them with us at  La-La Land Crafts by adding your creations to our Facebook Page or Twitter
