Tutorial Thursday - Butterfly Embellishments

Hi everyone! It's Alyce here today and I have a fun little tutorial for you on how I create Butterflies using the corner dies! This is so nice and simple and give you an embellishment to suit whatever project you are working on :)

Firstly, die cut your two corner pieces. I have used Filigree Corner Die for this Butterfly. Frantage your butterfly by using clear embossing ink, and sprinkling frantage randomly over die cuts (You may as well frantage the rest of your embellies too!! :)

Once Frantaged, affix die cut corners over each other, overlapping at the centre point. I use glue dots to affix the butterflies direct to the card.

To cover up the centre point where the corners meet, use a flower, pearls, or resin embellishment. I have used a flower in the image above. And there you have it! So easy and yet so effective! Here is another card where I have used the butterfly embellishment, but with pearls down the centre :)

I hope you have enjoyed this quick tutorial! Thanks for stopping by! :) xx
